School Council in partnership with School Administration enables various programs, ranging from hot lunch options, lunch and after school enrichment programs, supporting cross country and team sports, to various clubs held within school.

Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM)

The council raised funds to purchase computers and materials to support math club prizes.  The council also supported bringing the Scientists in School program to Adam Beck.

Literacy & Numeracy

Through approved TDSB's School Council Innovation Grant, early literacy and numeracy kits have been created, available for K-Gr 2 students to borrow and work at home. In addition, English and French books have been purchased for school library to replenish our stock.

Physical Education

The council covered the costs for equipment for phys ed classes, large connect four, pickle bats, etc.

Special Education

Noise cancelling headphones, fidget materials and other special education materials have been funded through school council.
